Get Your Own Call Tracking Display With AdMeter - (Neat).

Display Customisation is easy with Admeter. Which is just as well because we all know that personalisation is what everyone wants.


AdMeter is a very comprehensive cross media response analytic data platform, and therefore has a vast amount of data that can be displayed , however not all of the data may be relevant to either your business or specific day to day information needs .
So AdMeter offers you the facility to change the way the screens appear and to include the information that is most applicable to your business.

Personalisation

This system is tagged to your specific user login details and will display as per your settings each time that you log in. You may have a college that also has access to the system that is looking for different infotmation from the data that you have chosen and they will be able to set up the Display customisation to reflect what they are looking for.

How to do it

When you first log in to your AdMeter system you will be presented with one of our default templates which include AdApps we think are probably most useful to begin with. However, we fully understand that you may be more interested in other aspects and want to be able to see the data on your main screen.
Customising Your Display
To customise your screen, select DISPLAY CUSTOMISATION at the top right of the screen.
A new section will open at the top of your screen as a series of Tabs across the top – each of these tabs will offer you a sequence of AdApps pertaining to the description.
You can view what each AdApp will look like by selecting the small “i” box in the top right corner of each.To close the example view select Cancel.

Style of AdApp

You will note there are 2 shapes for AdApps. Depending upon the nature of the information displayed, the AdApp may be a rectangular display or a smaller thinner display. You must drag and drop a wider display to the centre right of the page and the narrower displays to the left. You can't put a wide display in a narrow column!

Adding an AdApp

To add an AdApp simply select the AdApp you want from the Display Customisation area, and holding the mouse button down, drag it onto the screen display area. The AdApp will create a yellow framed box on the screen where it will fit and when you de-select the mouse button the AdApp will drop into place.

Re-Arranging and Deleting AdApps

You can re-arrange the order of tiles in a similar way. Whilst in Display Customisation mode, simply select the AdApp to move, keep the mouse button pressed down and drag it to its new position.
Deleting AdApps can be done at any time. Select the cross in the top right corner. You will be asked if you wish to continue or cancel the deletion.
AdMeter allows you to tailor the exact data view that is best for keeping track of the information to help make your Business or department function efficiently.

Testing Marketing Response Via Call Tracking and Email Response

When time is short but ideas are many, you really want to make sure you test things that might improve your marketing in priority order.

We know that practically every client of ours makes massive strides in improving their marketing when using AdMeter to track response to their campaigns. What people do struggle with sometimes is knowing where to start and how to continue improving conversions.

Whilst working with a recent client we researched their testing system and found that they had half a system in place. They were changing things to test conversions but weren't really recording the results and building upon each test.There wasn't really a control that they could test new hypotheses on to create a new "winner".

Much of the improvement in marketing response was ad-hoc. This mean that the changes they made could have been responsible for improvements, or maybe it was because of external factors.

Commitment to testing

The commitment to continued testing is a huge part of improving marketing. Yes, it's hard sometimes to change entrenched ways of doing things. Sometimes you have to bring in experts. And yes...AdMeter's role is often giving the facts, which you can base decisions on to make those changes!

Using some of the processes detailed in the book "You Should Test That" by Chris Goward it is possible to prioritise (and measure systematically using AdMeter) the response to certain improvements and introductions of marketing tactics for any firm.

In working up a priority plan for testing there's a simple spreadsheet you can use to score your hypotheses.

For example let's take a law firm (solicitors). They want to improve their marketing and want to measure response to some new tactics and improvements to existing tactics. But they cannot do it all at once so they decide to prioritise their activity.

They use a simple grid to help them decide which improvements will make the biggest financial impact and how easy it is to make those improvements. (Company culture can often prevent change either through lack of knowledge or tradition so this is an important factor to consider).

They come up with the following rankings using potential impact, importance (money) ease of implementation and total score as they headings for the columns. This allowed them to prioritise by coming up with a total score...


All of the yellow highlighted improvements (high scoring) they decide to implement in a three month marketing plan. They track the improvements using AdMeter and continually test further improvement to create "winning" marketing tactics. Any improvements on these tactics are carefully tested to ensure external events, e.g. time of year, are controlled for.

The truth is that very few companies will test things. Even fewer will do so systematically. Most companies are so overwhelmed with things they never get started.
